i know i should be studying for chem and e maths and bio..but i just feel so empty.this morning was the prize presentation for the nutz run and mizuno wave run.i couldn't help thinking that this would be one of the last times that elsia would be up there announcing about the competition.and then we also got a postcard from grace ng thanking us for the cake(hehehe).now is like the 'blue mood' for me.dunno why but i'm getting more miserable with each passing day.i guess it's just me.i'll hold on to things for too long.and when they finally have to go away, i'll get a double blow.

guess that's just my life.

today was the mizuno wave 1okm run.and i came in 9th!haha.but i was damn hungry during the run..i think i woke up and ate too early.i won't say what time i woke up..people will think i'm crazy(:

anyway.i was sort of running in a semi conscious mode.it was like my mind wasn't there.harhar.i just kept moving my legs and arms.oh ya i don't think i want to run at bedok reservoir anymore for a very long time.i'm sort of getting sick of it haha.coz when we were running in the reservoir i felt like it was never ending!grrr.i was so relieved when i saw the track.haha.

then we waited around for the prize presentation.and congrats to jedi who got 15th!she didn't even know that she got top 15.haha.and the announcer was damn funny..he pronounced my name as 'wan za-rrrrah'!so funny.after that we took a jumping photo!i'll post it tomorrow.

me and jedi bathed coz we had tuition later..to the sec 4s,sorry to have kept you waiting and making us miss the macs big breakfast!we'll eat it another time i guess(:haha.in the end we just ate brunch at macs.

so after that me and jedi went for tuition..where we arrived just on time.oh ya it was so funny at mr mark's toilet.coz the door was closed and the light switch was turned on so i thought there was someone inside.actually there was no one so me and jedi had waited for nothing for about 5 minutes!haha.today we did trigo.omg i think my brain was like shut down during that time..we were all like so dead.heh.

then i went to fork and spoon to eat dinner..i had YTF!so nice.haha.i don't want school to start tomorrow..it's like test week again.e maths, chem, bio and english oral.it's seriously inhumane.but i guess i can look forward to going to siying's house tomorrow!(:

i can't believe that i actually spent my morning doing the leadership journal thingy.haha i had to do like 4 entries at one go coz i didn't bother about it in the earlier part of the year..my fingers were on the verge of snapping from my hand when i was done!then after that i did some math homework.still have 2 questions left though.haha.anyway.i just ate some red bean/barley/ginko nut thingy that Da Gu gave us.it tastes kinda weird..

tuition later with jediDUNG..haha.hope she doesn't smell like vomit already!

i finally found out what siying and jedi were up to yesterday..turns out they bought a CHOCOLATE CAKE for the upper sec school team!and it was from secret recipe!YUM!haha we gobbled up half the cake during recess.then we finished the rest during lunch.but there was still like some cream left so guess what we did?we attacked the sec 4s!haha.i smeared some on to huixin and claudia!it was so funny.then naomi was chasing grace around, displaying true determination..haha.then elsia and may cleverly hid away somewhere after they realised what was going on.omg we looked horrendous after the fight.i think siying looked the worst!oh ya and the cream on our clothes gave out a very vomit-like smell..uurrgh.

luckily it was done after school so we could straightaway change into our competition stuff.oh ya while we were waiting for the bus, i had my very first drink from the drinks stall..pink champagne!with the jelly thingies.i can't believe that after 2 years plus in cedar, this is like the first time i bought it.oh ya today was the project nutz relay run thingy at ngee ann poly.OUR TEAM GOT CHAMPIONS!!haha.congrats to the graduating sec 4 team too!!before the prize presentation we were sort of fooling around..i tried to steal jedi's hair rubber band!then we plotted to steal deb's and theodora's at the same time.it was so funny!but soon it was the prize presentation.then after that, we took some retarded photos at the stadium seats, then we went to j8(:we ate at long johns!i had the mango fish thingy..haha it was quite nice.

it was really fun eating with the sec 4s.i hope we can do it again soon!i love them to bits((:

hmm a maths today was quite okay..i was like speeding through the first few questions coz i was so scared that i wouldn't have enough time to draw the graph..i bet if i found it okay,jedi would get full marks already!heh.

today was another fuuunnn day!!except this time it was just jedi, siying and me(:so we planned in school to go see PROM NIGHT which was like such a good movie.but it left me traumatised.haha.anyway...after school we cabbed(again!) to bugis coz siying wanted to get TWEETY shoes!haha but they didn't have any stock left so in the end we took the train down to dhoby ghaut.then we went to PS.at first we thought that prom night was nc16 so we were like planning to get the tickets illegally(hehe!).but then we realised it was pg so we just bought the tickets.then we rushed to buy our food.

after that we went to the cinema and started eating..it was so funny coz siying was eating some noodle thingy and when the adverts stopped for a while and it was quiet, you could totally hear her slurping!haha.me and jedi bought burgers from burger king(:

oh my the movie kept us in suspense right from the very start.and siying kept screaming throughout the whole thing!especially at the scary parts.she was like the only one screaming...haha.but there was one point where all of us screamed at the same time and it was damn funny..

haaha anyway after the movie we just walked around for a while.it feels so good to just spend some time with your friends(:it was like a reward for us after the test today!

today was such a super fun day!after school, me, jedi, theresa, siying and naomi were supposed to go to naomi's house to study.but then theresa didn't want to follow at first.so it was just the 4 of us.we went to the market to buy some waffles.while were waiting for like daaaamn long,we discussed again about where to go.in the end, we decided on MY house coz it's like the most centralised(:then we were arguing about whether to walk the long way to the busstop or change buses..then in the end we just took a cab!haha.then that super-rich siying paid the fare..

haha then when we reached my house we watched the movie slither for a while..then after that we ate mee siam for lunch!YUM!lucky bibi could prepare it in time.so after that, we continued watching the movie..and studied simultaneously..PRO right!haha.it was so hilarious coz as usual siying kept screaming and made us all scream also(:after the movie ended we studied for a while more..then siying had to leave for tuition.so when she went down we screamed at her from the window...and caused a lot of people to look at us weirdly.haha.oh ya then siying had to lob jedi's wallet up to the window coz she had stolen it earlier!it was so funny...we were like trying to snatch it in the air!

after she left, we studied a bit more then jedi asked if there was anything chocolate-y..so i brought out the cadbury dark chocolate and raspberry thing.it's like half gone now!haha.then after that theresa went to the toilet..and so the 3 of us took the opportunity to go upstairs and hide!we hid in the study room.after theresa realised that we were gone she got really scared..and she didn't dare to come up to find us!so scaredy cat(:haha anyway after that, we ate some ice cream..since the dark chocolate wasn't to jedi's liking(:then we had a competition to see whose bowl would be licked the cleanest..i think jedi won!

then after that we had a PILLOW FIGHT!just like in thailand!but then there were no movable beds and the pillows were kind of small..but we enjoyed it all the same.jedi's and my hair looked monstrous when we were done!(:i wish that the times in thailand could be re-lived once again.i would really give anything-ANYTHING-to be back there with the other 5 sec3s.anyway.so after that,they had to go home already..and i walked jedi to the busstop.then i couldn't stand my smelly self so i bathed straightaway(:it was really an enjoyable day.it made me realise just how fun life can be with your closest friends around.they make your life meaningful even when you're down and they make you feel appreciated.i really don't know what i would do without them.

gee, i hope we can like do this kind of thing soon..maybe after the tests to de-stress!haha.

when i think of next year, i don't think:our last chance at a championship.i think: no sec 4s.no more crazy times together.no more running with each other.no more training together.no more seeing each other in school.no more cheering each other on.no more eating together.no more..no more..no more.i could go on and on.

it's just unbelievable, how time flies.it seemed like just yesterday we were off to thailand..where the stongest of memories among us were forged.i go about these days with a nagging thought at the back of my mind-that is i can't really turn to anyone anymore.other than the 6 sec 3s, that is.seeing the sec 4s now is like seeing them in a different light.they suddenly seem so far away.even though i pass by them in the corridors,it's hard to accept the fact that they won't be telling you where the next training is anymore..and you won't receive any encouragement letters before races from them anymore.

this batch of sec 4s are probably my most favourite batch.when i entered in sec 1, i was the only long d in the team.so i had not much choice but to stick with them.i can't believe that they were actually sec 2s once!they seem so ma-too-er now.

we totally have to carry on the tau huey tradition after training at serangoon.

anyway after that the cross country ppl had to stay back for this nike shoe thingy.it's quite cool actually.it's this device thingy that tracks your runs like the distance,pace and something else.oh ya it also tells you how many calories you've burnt..haha i bet jedi loves that!


it was quite sad not seeing the sec4s at that meeting.it seems so unreal that they won't be training with us anymore.i'll really miss them a lot.they're the people who lighten up the atmosphere during training whenever we're dreary and they never fail to motivate us to do our best.i mean it's like a whole different level from us.i seriously hope that the trainings next year won't be so bad.especially with ----- and ------ on board.without the sec 4s some more.

ok.i shall be a good girl now and study for ss.

i feel kind of weird.training has stopped..but anyway we had meet the parents session on friday.and since it starts at like 5 plus, me, jedi, siying, naomi, theresa and shreya went to the playground near the market and played to our hearts content((:haha our backs were drenched when we finished!meet the parents was quite boring..i fell asleep during the principal's address.haha.

so yesterday we went to the night safari!it's actually with the scholars..but i ended up going with yale, jie hui, su san and eunice TMG.and i met this really nice girl from SAJC who looks incredibly like si!!i've already found 2 people who looks like her.i really miss si a lot..i think i've dreamt of thailand 3 times already.it seems like me and jedi are the only ones who miss it to that extent..the rest seem to have gotten over it already.anyway.oh ya i think the only satisfactory enclosure we went to was the fruit bat and leopard enclosure.we could see them like up close..the rest were all like dead.and after that we ate ben and jerrys!this is the first time i've eaten it.i had the strawberry cheesecake ice cream..YUM!too bad i didn't take a picture of it..coz i was too eager to have a taste first then i ended up wolfing down the whole thing.

this week is like test week..there's english compre, ss and a maths.then next week is e maths and chem.grr.i'm gonna have to mug soon..

Today we had o levels mother tongue listening compre..haha it was quite ok.damn retarded lah..for the first half hour we just listened to the songs played on the radio!only at 5 then the podcast started to play.i think the whole singapore like heard the listening compre.so funny!

oh ya another funny thing happened today.in the morning SOMEONE put macs sausage mcmuffin burgers under the tables of the 6 sec 3s.actually at first i didn't notice it..at morning assembly then jedidah told me about it.it was damn distracting during lessons!the smell kept wafting up to my nose..having food under your table during lessons with your stomach grumbling away can pose as a great threat to your concentration in class.haha.i think i wasn't the only one who was affected..poor junying was like looking at it the whole time before recess.coz she sits like at the next row, two seats down.anyway.the 5 of us ate the burger for recess!and before that we took a picture.the only one who didn't eat with us was that puar siying..haha.i think she was the one who got all the burgers for us and grace and rahimah.who else would be rich enough?haha but she's refusing to admit it.hmm..maybe we should like question her suddenly and catch her off guard.otherwise it would be so frustrating trying to guess who is that mysterious person.oh ya siying says that the burgers were given to her by some person, who told her to distribute it.hmm...

anyways.tmr's the final day.and then after that we're going for the victory dinner!and the best thing is that it's at thomson plaza swensens..so it's like super near to my house.hopefully the 6 of us can sit together without any..ahems..and i'm planning to camwhore the whole night with the 6 of us and the sec 4s and everyone else.haha.

Today was the last training with the sec 4s of 2008. i did 2x4x200 with the 800 group..the pace was 35-36 seconds.i managed to hit it for all the runs(:yay!haha. i can't believe that it's gonna be the end of track season for 2008 in just 2 days.all the trainings and competitions we had this year seems to have gone by in a flash.i'm seriously gonna miss this year's sec 4s. they're like the most funniest and hilarious batch(:elsia and xinying for the wacky stuff they do. huixin and her persistent attempts at singing(however bad it may sound!). claudia and her 'heyys!'.grace ng for her impersonations of mrs chaiw.may for her stylishness. rahimah for her super soft 'UP's during baton passing.

sighs. i really wonder what it will be like without them. it's kind of hard to accept.but i guess what time brings helps us grow to be more mature(ma-too-er..as what elsia says!).hmms. i wonder if the current sec 2s will miss us this much when we leave?haha.but i'll definitely miss my sec 3s too.especially the SIX OF US(:our times in thailand were like the most fun times ever.the most memorable was the last 2 nights there..we practically didn't sleep!all we did was gossip(hmmm..)and we had pillow fights!!haha.the beds were falling apart when we were done..then we had hide and seek in the dark too!!and i'll never forget the friends we made there..si(who has a lookalike here-yunting) and koi(HER lookalike is berenice) and all the rest.i don't know why all the good times go by in a flash and the bad times seem to crawl by.after all this, we'll go through it once more next year and then we'll be leaving too.

you know, sometimes i get scared when everything seems to go by so fast. you look back and you wonder how in the world you managed to get to where you are.i guess it's true what they say-life is a journey and not a destination.if we all just focused on getting somewhere, and didn't fully experience the process along the way, we would never be able to get there.we gotta take it one step at a time..for each step taken is a step nearer to our goals..

so the 800 finals is in 2 days.the final day. where we'll be running in front of like the whole stadium. omg.cannot lose face mann..i hope i can get at least top 8 so i can gain some points for cedar..hopefully we'll get 2nd or even champions!it would really be a perfect end to the sec 4s time in cedar track and field..

haha there's chem tuition on saturday and math on sunday..both with that jediDUNG(:haha.today's math tuition wasn't as violent as last week's.all siying did was write something on jedi's paper.oh ya mr mark was damn funny..coz we were doing linear law graphs then he was drawing it on the board. i think he didn't estimate the size correctly coz there was this one point that went like outside of the graph..so he pretended to draw the point in the air! haha it was so hilarious and the whole class was laughing like mad.he's kind of random..he suddenly started telling us stories about some shaolin thingy and how hard it is to acquire knowledge if we don't stay still. or something like that.haha.

so there's training tomorrow. coz i have 800m on the final day. actually i'm excited but also kind of scared..this is the first time i'll be running an individual event on the final day.i hope that i have that 'feeling' which i had on national juniors when i managed to follow melody..but there are so many 800m pro runners!like berenice and yunting and melody..and maybe there are other hidden talents..argh.but i musn't get too distracted.just focus on my race..and hope i won't finish last!!haha.

AHA!! after trying for i dunno how many MILLION times i FINALLY managed to change my blogskin..and so here is my very first post!now i just need to know how to get the tagboard.haha i'm so noob at this.

anyways.today was the second chem tuition.i went to jedi's house earlier to make this blog..and guess who was there already?haha when i rang the doorbell this weird voice said "wrong house" then i was like, huh? so i tried to look in but the person kept closing the door.then when she said it again i knew it was naomi coz i recognize her laughter..haha it was so funny.then we sort of sat around and half-studied.then i tried to make my blog.i tried to change my blogskin too but to no avail.

anyway after that me and jedi went for chem tuition and naomi went for her chinese tuition.haha it was so funny seeing Mr Basil Fu again.i mean isn't basil like a spice?and he said "yallow" again when he was explaining a question.haha this time my laughter was much more controlled though.argh i had a hard time recalling all the formulas for chemical calcuations..heh.then after tuition i went back to jedi's house again to wait for my parents..then we had pillow fight!!haha it felt like thailand all over again..only things that were missing were the other 4 sec 3s and the movable beds.but i assure you that maria was there!!

haha when i reached home i tried baking pandan cake!it was damn fun mixing all the stuff together.the only icky part was separating the egg yolks from the egg whites.ihad to get through EIGHT eggs ok.urgh.anyway all went well..it rised beautifully in the oven..but when i took it out it sort of sank. then when it cooled enough for me to cut it, i was like damn disappointed..coz the bottom of the cake was fine..it was all soft and fluffy.but then the upper part was like super dense and kind of tough.grr.i'm not sure what went wrong..maybe i'll try baking it again another time(:
